Effective from 1.1.2025

The security and protection of our customers' personal data is a priority for us. Therefore, in accordance with relevant binding legislation, particularly Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as "GDPR"), we hereby inform you about the processing of your personal data in connection with the provision of our services.

1. Personal Data Controller

The controller of personal data is Greenometer s.r.o., ID No. 07638990, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 304555/MSPH (hereinafter referred to as the "Controller").

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as a name, identification number, location data, online identifier, or other identifiers relating to their physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity.

2. Sources and Categories of Personal Data Processed

The personal data we process, based on the legal grounds set out in Section 3, include:

  • Identification data (e.g., name, surname of the contact person)

  • Contact details (e.g., email address, telephone number)

  • Communication and interaction data (e.g., records of communication, customer support, and complaint handling)

3. Legal Basis and Purpose of Processing

Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds and for the corresponding purposes:

  • Performance of a contract or carrying out pre-contractual measures;

  • Compliance with legal obligations, including:

    • Act No. 586/1992 Coll., on Income Taxes;

    • Act No. 563/1991 Coll., on Accounting;

    • Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection;

    • Act No. 235/2004 Coll., on Value Added Tax;

  • Legitimate interests in enforcing or defending potential legal claims;

  • Consent (e.g., for personalized marketing and cookies – see our Cookie Policy).

4. Data Retention Period

We apply the principle of data minimization and store personal data only for as long as necessary.

  • Personal data related to the performance of a contract is retained for 5 years after contract conclusion to ensure fulfilment and claim enforcement.

  • Documents related to tax obligations are archived in accordance with tax legislation for 10 years.

After the applicable retention period, your data will be securely deleted.

5. Recipients of Personal Data (Subcontractors)

Your data is processed primarily by the Controller. In some cases, it may be transferred to carefully selected and authorized third parties strictly for the purposes described.

Subcontractors may include:

  • IT service providers, including secure cloud hosting (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Salesforce)

  • Payment service providers (e.g., Stripe)

  • Marketing and e-commerce support service providers

If data is transferred outside the EU, we ensure that such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions by the European Commission.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access to your data

  • Right to rectification

  • Right to erasure (under certain conditions)

  • Right to restriction of processing

  • Right to object to processing

  • Right to data portability

7. Security of Personal Data

The Controller declares that:

  • Adequate technical and organizational measures have been implemented to secure personal data;

  • Only authorized personnel have access to personal data;

  • Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest where applicable.

8. Final Provisions

By submitting an order or registering through our online platform, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy. The latest version will always be published on our website.
